Graduates Reunion At Shoal Lake Anglican Church
Agricultural graduates from Manitoba Agricultural College gathered at the Shoal Lake Anglican Church dasement on Monday evening January 30 with 51 at supper. Attendees hailed from Hamta Russell and Shoal Lake including two former students, Tommy Strachan and Kerr Fraser of Hamiota, who helped found the college in 1906. The meeting looked ahead to the Golden Jubilee in June 1956 and featured speakers Gene Deange Helgi Austman and Jack Nesbitt. The Shoal Lake Midget Garden Club catered, with T J Strachan raising funds, netting 18.00 for the group.
