At the Hamiota Hospital two births were recorded with families from Hamiota. On February 5th a son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kirk and on February 12th a daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Newton.

Death of William Davis of Brandon

William Davis of Brandon died Monday February 6 in his 64th year. Survived by his wife and eight children Herbert Arthur Roy Ethel Mrs Carver Mrs Gerring and Mrs H Wright. Also by his father James Brown and four brothers and three sisters. Born Ramsay England he came to Manitoba 35 years ago living in Hamiota then Brandon 17 years. Funeral from Salvation Army Citadel Brandon to Brandon Cemetery. Davis supported Salvation Army activities.
