Free Potatoes For Potatoes Clubs In Manitoba
Extension service promotes Potato Seed Clubs in Winnipeg to raise potato quality. Clubs require eight members ages ten to twenty, with officers, six meetings yearly, and 60 percent completion. Seed donated by W Krocher of Winkler, 50 lb per member for one dollar to cover transport, varieties Ponteac Cobbler Bless Triumph Canus, one variety per club, records and annual tests required.

Protestant church representatives met in Rossburn on January 24 to form a Rossburn and district inter denominational Ministerial Association. Rev J Y Garrett presided as president with J W Reid secretary and Pastor Neuerdorff treasurer.
