Pastor K E Syren invites the community to Zion Church Sunday with talks on who is safe and in danger and the psychology of inspiration. Morning sermon on an important theme, children told a story, Bible school at 12, Sabbath School at 2, preaching at 3, all encouraged to attend.
Knox Presbyterian Church announces regular services with Rev Geo Lockhart leading. Sunday School and Bible Class at 12:10 with lessons on Citizenship and a 7pm sermon on First triumph of good. Saturday a group of Wolves Tigers and Owls hiked to Mr Barretts farm on snowshoes and skis. They ate lunch hosted by Mrs Barrett then studied microscopy and telescopy and held a moccasin football match with no injuries.
A committee from the Great War Veterans' Association Hamiota Branch met the Hamiota School Board to request use of the school basement as a gymnasium for local youth. The board declined, citing plans to convert the space into a manual training and domestic science department. The G W V A proposes to help equip a suitable community building and will cooperate with organizations to secure it.
