McNaughts Drug Store advertises a large Valentine selection including Coutts cards and special cards. Featured items include Valentine cut-out books for 26 cents Valentine serviettes for 19 cents and Valentine chocolates at a limited supply.
An assortment of affordable goods noted includes LEKTROLITE flameless cigarette lighters at 2.26, WATERMAN'S TAPERITE fountain pens at 5.95, plastic soap boxes at 0.365, VALOUR powder puffs at 0.165, and RCA Victor radios with remaining models priced 42.80 and 59.95. Rev H J H Oldfield rector leads morning service with Holy Communion at 11 a m. Rev W G Onions minister conducts services at 11 a m and 7 p m with the church school meeting after the morning service. Everyone welcome.

In loving memory of Mrs Clarence Cochrane who died February 6 1946. We loved her so no tongue can tell how much we loved her and how well. God loved her too and thought it best to take her home with Him to rest. Ever remembered by husband and family.
