Rural Council meets Saturday. Various residents return from Winnipeg and Brandon for visits and business. Hamiota Hockey wins 12 3 at Shoal Lake. Bonspiel starts Feb 9 with first game at 8 pm. Choral Society attends Kenton festival. Numerous church, social and fundraising events fill the week including dances drives and lectures. Funeral of Earl Sheardown draws large attendance.
