Members enjoyed the Why Parent Education skit cast from among attendees. The group debated extracurriculars, urged parental guidance from early social life, and noted late nights should be avoided. Mrs Rae Cottick showed slides on her Europe trip. seven grade five students beat seven parents in a spelling match.

Bonspiel Notes From Oak Lake Hamiota and Oak River Rinks
Oak Lake Hamiota and Oak River invited readers to bonspiels with two Rivers rink teams. Dallas Smith skip led the third place Consolation rink while Dorothy Bates skip headed the second squad.
