Concert and Dance to honor Burns at Kenton
A Burns night event titled A Nicht wi Burns will be celebrated with a concert and dance in Kenton on Friday night. The Hamiota school closes for holidays and reopens January 2. Hamiota News and Christmas Events Recap
The Hamiota Poultry Pool shipped 7100 lbs of poultry from this point on December 12th. Christmas Day service will be broadcast over CJCX Yorkton from St Matthew's Winnipeg at 11 a.m. A list of residents spending the holidays at home is given. A hockey tournament at the Hamiota rink featured eight teams with results from four draws and a final where Kenton beat Hamiota. The Willing Workers WMS held a December meeting with officers elected for 1936. Hamiota United Church Sunday School thanks contributors for the Christmas supper success.
