Miniota Hall Opens Officially on New Year’s Eve
The 6,000 square foot Miniota Community Hall on Miniota Road near the rink, built with volunteer labor and hardwood flooring from the old hall, will officially open on New Year’s Eve. Ron Gardham Construction completed the main work with a final cost under 440000, funded by the RM Miniota, the Thomas Sill Foundation, Manitoba Culture Heritage, Manitoba Community Services, Trans Canada Pipeline, and Virden and Area Foundation. The event features a family supper, grand opening ceremonies, skating, curling and music all night.
