Holiday Travel Back Home For Christmas To Canada

New Canadians return to the Old Country for Christmas as traffic to Britain increases. The Canadian Pacific Railway plans special trains and ships from St John to Liverpool and Southampton. Steamer Montcalm and other liners offer expanded second class and steerage with modern comforts and a new Children’s Room onboard. Holiday sleepers connect from Edmonton and Calgary via Winnipeg to the ships. Sailing dates include December 9 and December 15 for Me raga and Montcalm services.
