R B Cochrane expresses gratitude to those who aided in saving his furniture after a Tuesday night fire that destroyed his home. A red Shorthorn Heifer with government tag remains missing. a $1000 reward is offered for information leading to its recovery. A Scotch dance fundraiser is planned in Memorial Hall Decker with proceeds for the Decker Curling Club. Proceeds from events support local clubs and a euchre drive with a late dinner and dance concludes with noted orchestras.

Women's Institute Danse at McConnell’s Hall December 28. Harmony Aces providing music with 50 cent ladies and 75 cent gents, lunch included.
