Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Tax Rebate Program Details
ASSINIBOIA-Len Gustafson announced in Ottawa on December 4 1984 that a 4.8 cent per litre rebate on agricultural fuel applies from December 1 1984 to January 1 1987. The rebate covers 3.0 cents federal sales tax and 1.8 cents Petroleum Compensation Charge. Eligible users may receive rebates via licensed fuel vendors or by filing through the Excise Branch with bulk permit receipts advised for first quarter 1985.
