Santa Claus Parade A Success in Warmth and Cheer
The Santa Claus Parade drew a good crowd despite the cold. About 450 to 500 candy bags were handed to children at the Orange Hall before the free show at the Theatre. Gratitude goes to Lindsay Whyte for the grand show and to all helpers. Plan entries for the Seed Fair and Hog Carcass Competition on March 28 1952. A Euchre Drive and Dance funded by the Odd Fellows is set for Friday January 1 at the Orange Hall with music by Riddell Orchestra. Special thanks to Reys Taxi Service for prompt assistance and to Dr Hudson Sr and Mrs Herb Asselstine, and to Mrs Fowlie and family.
