Hospital Ladies Aid Annual Meeting
The Hamlets Hospital Ladies' Aid held its annual meeting in the Council Chamber on Monday afternoon December 7. Secretary Jean Chambers surveys six regular meetings, a 22 member paid up group, and a busy year of purchases, meals on Fair and Sports Days, and donations from Red Cross and town ladies. The group funded a sterilizer, built a storehouse addition, repaired roofs, and supported ward supplies. Receipts and expenses for the year ending November 30, 1925 are listed. old linen remains urgently needed and Mrs. McDonald remains hospitalized with burns.
