Passadena visitor Mrs Mills Cowling arrived to spend the winter with the family in Hamiota. A large dinner included the Cowling clan and friends from Huntington Beach and Crandall Man. The skating rink opened last week and curling began Monday. The Children’s Aid Concert at McConnell’s Hall drew a full house, with B R McNaught as chairman. Goods sold Saturday brought good prices despite a stormy day and small contributions.
