Chumah Christmas Tree and Concert at United Church

The Womens Association of Hamiota United Church hosts a Chumah Christmas Tree and concert in the church on Wednesday December 19 at 8 p.m. All are welcome. The Evening Auxiliary and parish events are listed with meetings and a Christmas pageant. Mary Ethel Elizabeth Lorimer announces engagement to Reginald Lloyd Oliver for December 20 1951 in Scotia United Church. The Routledge family thanks neighbors for support after a recent fire.

Blue Cross Public Meeting Highlights Community Support

A large turnout in Orange Hall Hamiota for a Blue Cross public meeting featured film presentations on Abitair A Story of mining in Eastern Canada and A Mile Under the Wheat about oil at Leduc Alberta.
