Decker Women's Institute Annual Report Highlights
The Decker Women's Institute reports eleven regular meetings and one special over the past year with twenty two members and average attendance of twenty one. Members funded charitable works, held sales and drives, and contributed to a hall project with a $40 rent, storm windows, and a medicine cabinet for the school.

Decker school operetta and seed fair highlights
The Decker operetta Lets Go Travelling was well staged by school children and proceeds fund the teachers room. A large Seed Fair by Teabella Agricultural Society showcased many prizes led by Jenella Strachan in multiple categories. Mr Wm May of the Oddfellows presented retiring treasurer G C Munroe with engraved cuff links and a merch pipe. Lunch by Women’s Institute followed. Christmas Tree slated for Dec 22 at Memorial Hall.

The Hamiota Agricultural Society held its annual Seed Grain Fair and Dressed Poultry Show in the Orange Hall on Wednesday. Poultry exhibits drew strong interest with multiple prizes awarded across utility cockerels fowls turkeys ducks geese and pairs. A contribution of 62.00 was received by Mrs E J Venables secretary of the Hamiota branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society.
