The Bamiotsa Consolidated High School will open on Tuesday led by Principal T. A. Neeland and assistant Brousssn. Six teachers will staff the High School with Miss Cochrane, Miss Houck, Mrs Sproat and Mr Lewis in the Public School Department. Quiet Crandall Wedding Joins Ida M Lewis and Chas Lewis
A quiet ceremony was held Monday August 17 1914 at 8 30 p m in Crandall at the home of Mr and Mrs S H Shier. Ida M Lewis eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W W Lewis of Chumah Man married Charles W Lewis officiated by Rev Dr Talbot Crandall Methodist church. Only close relatives attended and villagers serenaded the couple who received a jewel case as a wedding token. The newlyweds departed for their home with many friends’ best wishes.

Destructive Fire at the Brook Farm North of Town
A fierce blaze struck the Brook brothers farm four miles northeast last Friday during a storm. Lightning sparked the fire spreading through a barn housing twelve valuable horses, a colt, calves, harnesses, a bicycle, and hay. The barn, built just over a year ago, burned down, with insured losses totaling about 3 500.00 dollars for horses and barn plus 500.00 for feed and equipment.
