Special Thanksgiving service for Victory planned at Christ Church, Hamiota. Card of Thanks from James Scorgie for bereavement support.
Mrs Jas Scorgie wife of the late James Scorgie died Thursday Aug 16 at her farm home north-west of town in her 84th year. Born Waterside Aberdeenshire Scotland she came to Canada in 1910 and lived at Hamiota area for 27 years. Funeral Friday Aug 17 from her residence to Hamiota Cemetery conducted by Rev W G Onions. Survived by son James.
