The Village of Hamiota council met with Mayor Stewart and Councillors Kerr Jordan presiding. Motions adopted include reading minutes, approving financial committee accounts, and exempting fire brigade from poll tax. Various bills listed for street work, sidewalk stone, scavenger, and police service. The council adjourned.
The Rural Municipality of Hamiota met August 9 1913 with Reeve Houck presiding. Minutes were read and adopted. By law 322 to borrow 4000 dollars was passed. An arbitrator Josepha H Bedford was appointed for Lavinia school district. Finance approved payments to Jos Andrew and various ward road accounts. Meeting adjourned to October 4.
