Knox Church hosts a United service with Rev E Luud in charge a mid week service at Zion Church on Wednesday at 8 o'clock. United Church Sunday School and preaching at 3 o'clock conducted by Rev J S Watson of the Lord's Day Alliance.

Mrs E Runchey died Thursday at age 75 8 10 in Crandall Manitoba where she had lived with her husband since 1896. The funeral at Crandall United Church was led by Rev W T Brady with solos by Mrs J E Johnston and Mrs R Lynch. Interment followed in Crandall cemetery. She leaves sons and daughters in Ontario California Manitoba and Saskatchewan including James Haney A Milling ton J Todd T Clark D Bedford Robert Runchey George Runchey Allan Runchey and Wesley Runchey.
Crandall hosts Miniota Thursday August 11 for a championship clash with a $5000 prize and frat homerun prize of 2.00. Game time listed as 6:30 p.m. Admission 25 cents. Nearby celebrations include Decoration Day observances by Hangota Lodge No 95 and Grace Rebekah Lodge No 85 LO of.
