Hamiota aims to host Manitoba baseball hall of fame
Hamiota seeks to become home for the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, leveraging its baseball heritage. A luncheon at the Hamiota Community Centre on April 17 launched this effort, with a committee formed to pursue a proposal before May 7. Neepawa has already submitted a proposal, heightening Hamiota’s urgency to attract display space of 750 to 1,000 square feet. Interested parties may call the Mid West Recreation Office at 764-2374.
