Intergenerational Health Course Brings Birch Lodge Visit
Hamiota Collegiate teachers introduce a health unit exploring societal attitudes toward mental health, disability, and the elderly. Grade 10 students visit Birch Lodge residents, engage in conversations and activities, and learn firsthand about life in a care home. A March dance with The Needham Twins sparked positive student response.
