Oh Promise Me to Be Staged by Hamiota Players
The Hamiota Players present a three act play Oh Promise Me in the hall on Friday April 28 at 8 30 p.m. The Fiddlers Contest on April 21 raised 84 dollars for the local baseball club with Elgin Stewart Oak River winning first, Orla Brown Rivers second, Morris Genung Oak River third. Judges were John Riddell Hamiota Charlie Miller McConnell Roy Wilson Strathclair. Bill Windthrop won the door prize. Music for the dance was supplied by the contestants.
