McConnell Club Notes And 1947 Baseball Plans
The W.1. met at Mrs. J. Allens on April 16 with eighteen ladies and two children. They voted to honor every lady over seventy on birthdays and Mary Brown was named delegate to the May convention. Stable Hall spoke on Rules of the Road and delinquency. Dr. Hudson to speak May 28 at Mrs. Asseltine’s. J. C. Scott elected baseball manager and R. Asselstine secretary-treasurer for 1947.
