Community Places Alberta funding for local projects in May intake
The Manitoba Community Places Program will hold one intake period on May 15, funding community projects through lottery dollars with a required local match. Past grants funded projects, with a $20 000 total cost needing at least $10 000 from the community. Grant forms are via the recreation office. Westman Sport Association offers a separate program with up to 1000 per project on a 50 50 basis, deadlines June 1 and October 1, for program development or essential playing field equipment, not for equipment alone.
