Secretary to list tax arrears. Council to urge post office and telephone facilities. Meeting adjourned.

Frank Middleton was appointed assessor at 175 dollars salary. the assessor to act as collector with twenty percent commission. 1917 assessment roll adopted after Court of Revision. Finance Committee reported multiple payments including Hamiota Echo postage and salaries. lands re zoning and school district boundaries amended adding lands to Hazelbank School District 1906. council adjourned to June 1 1918.

Visitor Policy for Private and Semi-Private Wards
The policy restricts visiting hours to private wards from 3 to 9 p.m. daily and semi-private wards from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays Fridays and Sundays. No more than two visitors per patient at a time. Visitors must register in the Visitor's book and are not admitted outside hours without superintendent permission. Overnight visits require special permission in extreme cases and a board charge applies for any kind of messes or parcels brought in.
