Lovell Seeks Manitoba Merchants’ Backing For Test Village

Salvation at Home and Motocross Nationals in Melita
Fred McGuinness told about 70 chamber members in Waskada that salvation begins at home and rural towns will fail if they ship youth away after Grade 12. He noted the investment lost when graduates depart and urged valuing youth to encourage return. Souris Valley Raceway in Melita will host the 1994 Expert National Motocross on Sunday July 10 with riders from across Canada. Ed Fawcett, National Referee, could not comment. His wife Phyllis praised Melita hosting the event. Jamie Furtney of Melita becomes an expert and may represent the town at nationals.
