Town officials warn a water shortage may occur during the coming summer and urge residents to conserve. Irrigation should be minimized, domestic use prioritized, and misuse prosecuted. Rewards offered for information leading to tree-top destruction and vandalism within the Dundas shire.
Dundas Shire law directs that any person erecting fencing or wire netting along roads will be prosecuted. The registrar warns road users that declarations are required under the new by law, with penalties for noncompliance.
A partial historical notice lists tenders for fencing and road work near Goroke and Balmoral with specifications at Shideati’s Lill and nearby areas. It mentions contract details, site locations, and that lowest or any tender may not be accepted, signed by K. Cameron, U.B., Bhire Enemear, Somme! Chamberm, October doth, 1712.
The notice invites tenders for supplying and crushing metal yards and maintenance metal in the Bolth-East and West Ridings. Specifications are available at She' Shire Hall Rawkesdals and residences of A Hick, Gleeson, and EK Gleeson in Macarthor. A preliminary cash deposit of £2 must accompany each tender. The lowest tender is not necessarily accepted.
Notice from Allan Shire Secretary announces a Minhamite Council meeting on Wednesday November 4 1912 to set General Rate and Extra Rate on the net annual value of rateable property. The 3d per pound rate applies in the West Riding. Rates commence December 1 and are payable by December 11. Documents prepared under Local Government Act MMM are available at the Shire Hall Hawkendale.
The Shire of Minnamiic gives notice that the accounts of the Shire have been audited and printed, with auditor's report and certificate. The council will meet at the Shire Office Macarthur on Wednesday December 4, 1912 at twelve o'clock noon for the remaining and settling of the accounts.
