Notice to ratepayers in Dundas Shire. Property rates due for three months or more before 1 June 1913 must be paid. The Collector will attend Hamilton Dunras Shire Chamber from 1 to 20 June 1913 daily except Sundays between 10 am and 2 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm for property rate payments and dog registration. H Smith Secretary Hamilton 4th May 1918.
Five pound reward offered for information leading to conviction of persons removing sand or gravel from roads or damaging adjacent property. A second reward of ten pounds by the Dundas shire council for information to convict anyone stripping trees or interfering with roadway trees without council permission. Appointment of Percy Edward Ornhue as Ranger to oversee road health and safety duties.
In the Shire of Mount Rouse landowners in Linlithgow Jennawarra and Boonawah are warned that star thistle and related weeds on their properties must be cut or abatement action will be taken. W. Mererather of Dunkeld named Thistle Inspector will enforce the order and compel landowners to comply. January 1913.
Public notice warns that the 44 bridge near Fellman Bay, Gap Road, Dunkeld parish cannot carry more than 4 tons. It prohibits driving or hauling over the bridge without written permission from the municipal engineer. Violators face penalties up to twenty pounds plus damages. Also mentions a separate reward notice for information leading to convictions related to street tree damage on Hamilton Road Penshurst.
Shire of Minhamits invites tenders for filling carting and general maintenance in the West Riding ESDRHS contract. Tenders close Monday 20 June at Abhire Office Hawkesdale. Shire of Minhamire notices that rates must be paid by June 1 1913 to enroll property. Rate Collector will attend the office at Mankerdinle from May 26 to June 1, excluding bank holidays, for payment reception. Interest on arrears and current rates unpaid for six months will prevent placing rates on the Municipal Roll.
The Shire of Portland announces that any person entitled to rates on their property must have all rates for periods three months or more prior paid by June 10. Interest at mix per cent accumulates from November 14 to payment date. The Collector will also collect rates at the Shire Office Portland from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the day.
