Travel notices list fares and return tickets for Portland to Melbourne and nearby ports with dates in June and August. Agent G Catheria advertises services from Sid-Bentinek Street Portiana and Portland connections with stated prices and carrier details.
Council of Mount Rouse defines parts of Martin street Penshurst between Watton and Dickens streets and Bell street between Burchett and Acates streets. It orders that drivers of traction engines must notify the Shire Secretary in writing of the intended driving direction after May 1, 1915.
The Shire of Mount Rows warns movers and drovers that the council intends prosecuting offenders who leave and abandon dead carcases on any road to preserve the Shire. By order, D. Walls, secretary.

Notice from Shire Secretary T Walls Penshurst July 22 1915 outlining requirements for road contracts under the Country Roads Board Act. It specifies tyre sizes wheels and carriage lights for vehicles, weight limits and ignition restrictions and penalties for non compliance within the Shire of Kowres and adjacent towns.
The Veroment Act to control tire width rules takes effect in Kowree Shire from late November 1905. Vehicle weights will be marked on the vehicle plate in white letters not less than one inch high, with limits of 4 cwt for two wheelers and 44 cwt for four wheelers.
The notice states that when paying rates by cheque the cheque must not include the rates due to Kowres Waterworks Trust. Rates owed to the Waterworks Trust must be paid separately.
The Public Health Board of Victoria issues regulations under the Sure Food Act 1905 to secure cleanliness and prevent contamination of bread and meat. Prohibits resale of returned bread or meat and the use of newsprint in contact with food. penalties up to ten pounds. Dated Melbourne July 6, 1906.
Rangers report sheep owners graze on roads harming registered stock and will prosecute offenders. Drovers are warned that placing wire netting or any obstruction across roads within the shire is forbidden and violators will be prosecuted.
The Shire of Kewres notifies that inspectors have begun enforcing dog registration and wearing collars by owners of registered dogs at no charge. On July 7, 1915, Mr. LN David K Baillie of Hawkesdale is appointed as Ranger for the Eastern Division of the Shire. The notice is signed by S J Allan, Shire Secretary.
The Board of Public Health informs residents Kowree Shire that the Launder Bronton apparatus and treatment instructions for Souake uteras are available from listed state and local schools, res idences, and public offices including Apsley Head Teacher Neuarpurr Filderane Goroke Gymbowen Narcome Salt Lake Telangetuk Connewirricoo Karnak Charam Power's Creek wide nbone Shire Hall and the Launder Bronton apparatus can be procured on request to the secretary for 1/ mach.
AP Shire Secretary to attend the fief at Macarthur on Friday after the ordinary fines of the Council. Hours 14 to 8. Notice: after July 4 1912 stray stock on Council roads or reserves will be impounded by the Shire Ranger unless they bear the registered tadge.
