Our Own Correspondent reports a public meeting in MacArthur Saturday night to welcome returned soldiers. Mr Watson chaired the proceedings and spoke on welfare duties, while speeches urged support for veterans and promised a postwar program. Attendees praised the returned men and called for continued public backing and employment efforts.
