The Shire of Dewree orders medical practitioners and birth death registrars to report cases of listed diseases to the Board of Health and Shire Council. Parents and house occupiers must notify head teachers of school children about outbreaks including smallpox measles typhoid diphtheria and others.
Public notice states apparatus and instructions for treating soak bile are available in Kowres Shire at multiple locations. Names of head-teachers, post offices, and residences listed. applicants directed to secretary at Leach for the highly recommended Lawder-Bronton apparatus.
