Lady Postlethwaite Will and the Codicil Intrigue
Philip Austen visits Lady Postlethwaite to witness a codicil to Sir Josiah Ponthewaite’s will. A web of vanished letters, a forged impression, and a dramatic reading expose a complex plot involving love, money, and a missing codicil, ending with a dramatic transfer of fortune and a reformulated will.
