The meeting of subscribers to the Penshurst Telephone Exchange and the public of Penshurst and District will be held in the Connell Chambers Penshurst on Wednesday 7 January 1916 at 8 o clock pm. It will decide measures to preserve the present continuous service. subscribers have been notified that unless the shortage is remedied for one year the office will open only from 9 am to 6 pm.
