Portand Melbourne parish boundary road between Tuderan Yar west Napapuniah parishes is closed to through traffic. London Lane section remains closed for safety. By order Shire Secretary Walls.
The Mount Route Shire Council announces a general rate of twelve pence in the pound on the net annual value of rateable property for the year to 30 September 1916. An estimate is at Penshurst Shire Office for one hour inspection by interested parties. Also notices declare intent to impose an extra rate of three pence and to prosecute drovers leaving carcases on roads, with grazing stock warnings and road maintenance requirements. Officials urge compliance and provide dates in 1914 1915 notices.
Shire of Kowree warns that no person will be allowed to confinement premises without registered private hospital status. Motor cycle riders must use caution on routes in the Shire and wear collars. Inspectors will enforce the Low Act on dog registration and collar wearing with owner names. Penalties include penalties under the Dog Act and destruction provisions for certain weeds. The notice is signed by H. G. Hill, Shire Secretary,Preshton September Bite.
The Shire of Cowrar mandates immediate reporting of several contagious diseases by medical practitioners and midwives to the Board of Health and Shire Council. It requires parents and building owners to notify the head teacher when illnesses occur in houses with schoolchildren and lists diseases including typhoid fever diphtheria scarlet fever plague yellow fever and more. Also a contractor notice from September 6 1914 requires 44 inch tyres and specific wheel details for country roads boards contracts beginning October 1 1914.
Shire of Mount Rouse issues final notice under By laws Nos 15 and Wandering Stock. Owners of stock traveling for grass must register with Herdsman William Mereweather by post. to Drovers a warning against placing wire across roads within the shire, or face prosecution. Rates payable to Kowree Waterworks Trust must be paid separately when paying by cheque.
Notice states that sale or distribution of any matches other than those barcoded is prohibited in Kowrea Shire during January to December each year. Impounds will occur on Read and Reserves if found running on shore meetings without the Council's Registered Badge. Allan, deputy.
In 1908 the Mount Rouse Council and Police Health Department declare Spring Creek and overflow from the Penshurst Spring unfit for domestic water supply and human consumption. The creek is closed and no use for drinking purposes is allowed. Penalties apply for each day of permitted use.
The Shire will pay a bonus of two pence per hundred for Sparrow Heads and one penny per hundred for Sparrow Eggs procured within the Shire boundaries. The bonus is payable on delivery to any Councillor or the Secretary.
Government notice charges all persons traveling by vehicle between sunrise and the townships of Edechops Harrow Goroke and Apaley within a mile of their boundaries with enforcing action. The document notes annual carriage lights are provided and must be lit at night. Public officials sign off as Hillshire Garette.
Kowrea Shire trustees announce the Local Government Act provisions on tire width to take effect from November 1 1915. Vehicle weights are tied to half inch tire width with charges for two wheeled and four wheeled vehicles. All non private passenger vehicles must display weight on their sides in white figures at least one inch tall.
Rubbish Depot notice states the Old Quarry Hole south of Allotment 4 section 35 between Glace and Armytage trestle Dun keld approved for refuse and rubbish disposal by Soirengothe place for Duinkels. The text is fragmentary but indicates official designation of a disposal site and related approvals.
The Kowrea Abire Conneil announces depots in Telangatok East Apeley Minimay Getoke and Harrow for distribution of phosphorised wheat to town residents. Materials available at cost price cash only. Addressed by H. G. Ayli.

H. Tulloh, Secretary.
