Guyra Golf Club Results and Eclectic Winners
The Bunker reports on Guyra Golf Club Stableford results with A Dowell winning T Le Cuddy trophy on 43 points while Bill Johnston and M Matthews led the eclectic 36 hole event. Heavy rain shortened play but Monday’s conditions allowed 36 holes with Johnston posting 54 net and Matthews 55. Upcoming events include Canadian Mixed Foursomes and Left handers vs Right handers, plus a club dance and a working bee for the open tournament. Procession and sports at Guyra Showground event
The event organized by J C Heagney and M McCanma faced poor support and a disappointing financial result. Proceeds benefited Gujra District, War Memorial Hospital, and Tugby Football League, with 80 percent to the hospital.
