Fragmented OCR text discusses spring pasture care and rotational grazing, with scattered terms about weed control, rotation timing, and pasture health. It references rotational grazing benefits and pasture maintenance, but the readable content is garbled and partial. The piece touches on early grazing periods and stock management considerations.
The sale notes at Flemington describe a mixed yarding with higher numbers of sheep and a generally weaker opening for heavy cattle while dairy and veal entries show varied demand. Prices for individual lots such as Marden, Wys 8 tickers and others are recorded, with several items reaching around 28/10 and 7/18.
Wool buyers report fluctuating values with Yorkshire German and Tasmanian lines leading demand. Prices for AAAE and AAAEE bales range around mid shillings, with notable sales to Walgett and Charleville estates as suppliers report improving but uneven conditions in the west. Auction catalogues anticipate large activity in Sydney next week, about 4000 bales expected across staged offerings.
