Weather swings and a local tennis outing at Wandsworth
The report notes a very changeable spell of weather with the coldest days of the month, a pub-wide illness, and Mrs Carpenter's return from Armidale hospital. The local team travelled to Tingha for a win and a tennis day featured mixed doubles scores, culminating in a guinea prize match on the Tenterden court where Maud Parsons beat Josay McKay by eight.
