Revenue figures show declines in July and August
The Commonwealth Treasury reports lower actual revenue than the Treasurer's estimate for July and August by £123,148. Postal revenue during the first two months of the year fell short of the estimate by £105,409. In August 1990 Customs revenue was £2,? compared to the prior month. Pension totals in force include 173,813 old age and 68,390 invalid pensions. Maternity allowances over the last two months were 16,500 versus 22,432 a year earlier.
