Gayra Club staged a successful knock-out football day at the showground on Sunday with four teams, Greens defeating Blacks 21 to 6 in the final after earlier wins by Greens over Crossman and a Blacks victory. The event drew substantial patronage from Guyra with strong play from Greens guards and backs and notable scoring runs by Williams and Pettit.
