Proposed rail link draws criticism at chamber meeting
At the Guyra and District Chamber of Commerce session last Thursday the panel condemned the North West to Coast rail proposal. Col. H F White cited lack of new data, questioned the Mulligan Route via Ebor to Grafton, and argued the Inverell to Iluka line would not justify a deep sea port. He urged support for the Guyra Ebor route and called for a detailed survey and cost review before proceeding.
