Potatoes Delivered to Board Under 1927 Act Ruling
In a 1949 case, Justice Owen held that potatoes vest in the board when developed and bagged and must be tendered to the board before reversion to the grower. The offence of selling unoffered potatoes was proven, despite no prior notice. A magistrate’s dismissal was overturned with costs.
