The U S Army Air Force unveils a 5000 horsepower liquid cooled engine with 36 cylinders and a novel gear like power control feature. Officials say it could push plane range beyond 11 500 miles and payload to 50 000 pounds, enabling designs for non stop world circumnavigation with four to six engines.
The Tingha War Functions Association met in the committee room last Monday with financial members present. A resolution directed a £10 cheque to Tingha lad, funds to be derated to the Local Repatriation Committee, and the association wound up with assets to be handed to the local committee for administration.
