Emmaville beat Ben Lomond by 9 points in a hard fought match at Ben Lomond. Emmaville led 10 8 at half time and extended to 9 3 early in the second half before Ben Lomond pressed late but could not overturn the deficit.
The annual Ben Lomond MUO O F Ball drew many visitors from Armidale Glen Innes and Glen Coe. District leaders including Bro Davidson D D G M and Bro Clark attended.
