Rearrangement planned in Armidale diocese
The Armidale Tamworth and Moree archdeaconries will be realigned into area based divisions with lists of parishes under Armidale Tamworth and Moree. Archdeacon Stammer and Archdeacon Young will keep roles and Rev. R J H Stockdale is appointed Archdeacon of force. The Bishop notes naming archdeaconries after towns is misleading and archdeacons serve the Bishop personally. Bequests and endowment funds are noted along with memorial developments and church building plans across the diocese.
