Tenterden Comforts Fund reports record year
At the annual meeting of the Tenterden sub branch of the Comforts Fund led by President W D Cameron the branch reported £540 raised since June 1941 with £441 to the Red Cross Society. The Treasurer noted £211 0s 5d spent in the year with £189 18s 1d to the Red Cross £14 8s 1d to the Prisoners of War Fund £7 3s 6d to the Comforts Fund and £2 2s to the China Day appeal. Re-elected officers included Cameron as president and J S Mould as secretary and treasurer.
