Week ending June 3 parish totals include Llangothlin 1681 bags and Armidale 317 bags, with 6620 bags across centers. Up to Saturday last 1700 tons of seed potatoes were sent to other centres.
Acting Army Minister J M Fraser informs MP J P Abbott that a small supply of .303 rifles and 500 rounds of ammunition is available to pastoralists at prices of £1 10s and £3 respectively. Applications should be made to the Impressment Officer at Headquarters New South Wales L of C Area Sydney for those concerned, following SWAC and other representations.

Galadrys Lawson three years old of Tyla Forest Ben Lomond suffered a grass seed in her throat. Dr. Child monitored her and successfully removed the seed after several days of observation.

A Sunday show at the showground featured the Old Reps defeating the All Golds three to nil. Jack Bowen scored the lone try as Charlie Mitchell and Peter Hanna sustained injuries. E Hanna led the B-graders in a 6-2 win over the A.T.C. squad with John Doyle earning selection for the All Golds after a strong display.
Guyra Shire Council undertakes triennial elections preparatory work with Mr Akin appointed as lists collector to compile electors and ratepayers lists during regular duties at last week’s meeting.
