A 13 year old, Cecil McElroy of Tooloogan, played with friends on Saturday evening when Ben Lomond fell and broke his elbow. Dr. A G Child attends to him as his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. McElroy, seek care.
Mr Sid Kelly suffered a badly broken wrist when thrown from a horse and is being attended by Dr A G Child. He is now making a good recovery.
Mr J P Abbott MP told Guyra L W A C members that vegetable contracts may fall by 22 000 tons this coming season from 77 000 to 55 000 tons The S W A C feared farmers who were urged to grow more vegetables would be impacted and a letter to Agriculture Minister W J Scully was approved seeking clarity on any cuts and affected crops
