The Guyra P A and H Association held its monthly committee meeting led by President A W Everett. L M Mou was elected to fill a vacancy caused by J T Mulligan’s death. B M Mulligan becomes Vice-President. The fat lamb issue was raised with proposals to work with Aberdeen for processing and a primary producers conference set. Sub-committees on grounds, executive, protest, side show, printing, amusement, motor traffic, and various section stewards were appointed, with economies discussed and meetings scheduled for July morning. The council rejected using the parish hall for housing single men, citing fire insurance concerns, while noting unemployed workers may seek low-wage employment but risk later wage claims.

The Guyra and District Relief Council thanks Guyra Pictores Ltd for the Arcadia Theatre room use for Beliv Depot work. On June 26 the depot opened aiding five families. Donations listed include clothing, vegetables, milk, jam, and cash from numerous locals with Registrar A A Brown to handle claims by July 7.
Church memoranda list Sunday services across multiple parishes including Guyra Wandsworth Tenterden and Bev with times in the afternoon and evening. A meeting noted the death of Mr J T Malliguo, and sympathy was expressed to his family. Also announced is the illness of Mr Ale Little and a forthcoming card party fundraiser for a charitable building project.
